Tech-Enabled Women Empowerment Program

Women's empowerment is a core objective of Global Trust, focusing on education, skill development, and active participation of marginalised women to break free from social and economic barriers. Our programs are designed to equip women—particularly those from minority and socially disadvantaged communities—with the tools, confidence, and knowledge needed to become influential contributors within their families, communities, and local governance.

Since 2018, we have delivered leadership development training in multiple blocks of the Cuddalore District. These interventions integrate technology-based learning to enhance digital literacy, connect women to Government welfare schemes, and enable economic growth through access to information, resources, and markets.

Our tech-enabled approach includes training on digital skills, online financial literacy, and leveraging e-governance platforms, ensuring women are empowered not only through traditional skill sets but also by harnessing the opportunities of the digital era.

Key Activities

• Leadership Training & Recognition: Building confidence and community leadership skills among women. Includes Global Excellence Awards for exemplary women leaders.
• Financial Literacy: Educating women on digital banking, budgeting, and effective income management.
• Digital Literacy & Digital India Initiatives: Training women in essential technology skills to access online opportunities and government e-services.
• Government Scheme Linkage: Assisting women in accessing state and central government welfare programs.
• Convergence Activities: Coordinating with multiple stakeholders and resources for enhanced impact.
• Livelihood Guidance: Supporting women in planning, initiating, and sustaining income-generating ventures.
